The sensor carries a 3/8-18 NPTF tapered thread and a 19 mm hex, overall probe length 46 mm. It employs a negative-temperature-coefficient (NTC) thermistor element calibrated 2.5 kΩ ±5 % @ 20 °C falling to 180 Ω ±5 % @ 100 °C, giving a steep yet linear 0–5 V output to the engine ECU.

Material & performance features:

The probe shell is forged from lead-free brass and nickel-plated to resist cavitation and glycol-based coolants. The sensing tip is over-moulded in high-temperature PPS, then potted in epoxy for complete vibration and moisture immunity.
