Thread interface M14 × 1.5 parallel with 19 mm hex and 18 mm probe reach for direct insertion into the cylinder-head coolant gallery. Sensing range –40 °C to +140 °C via a precision NTC thermistor calibrated 2 500 Ω @ 20 °C, 300 Ω @ 80 °C, 120 Ω @ 110 °C, tolerance ±2 %.

Material & performance features:

Probe body is precision-machined from 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) stainless steel for complete immunity to glycol, long-life organic-acid coolants and galvanic corrosion; a copper crush-washer and fluorosilicone O-ring ensure leak-free sealing up to 3 bar system pressure. Electronics are fully encapsulated in high-temperature epoxy potting compound, thermal-shock-tested 1 000 cycles –40 °C↔+150 °C, salt-spray-tested 96 h per ASTM B117, EMI-suppressed circuitry compliant with SAE J1113-42 for reliable ECU feedback, MTBF > 500 000 engine hours.
