Technical specifications:

The sensor body is a brass forging with 1/8" NPTF male thread and 19 mm hex, measuring 58 mm overall length and weighing 115 g. It employs a negative-temperature-coefficient (NTC) thermistor whose resistance decreases from 10 kΩ ±3 % at 25 °C to 184 Ω ±10 % at 100 °C, producing a steep and repeatable curve that the ECU can resolve to ±1 °C. Response time from 25 °C to 100 °C in flowing coolant is less than 15 seconds.

Material & performance features:

The sensing element is a glass-encapsulated NTC bead that is thermally bonded to the brass probe tip for rapid heat transfer and excellent long-term stability. The body is nickel-plated for corrosion resistance and over-moulded with high-temperature PPS resin achieving IP67 ingress protection.
